Fireworks Display Scheduled on the Rhode River September 3

     Mayo, Md. -- Mariners are advised that a fireworks display will be held on the Rhode River, near its confluence with Cadle Creek at Mayo, Maryland, on Saturday, September 3, (rain date September 4 or 5, 2011) at 8:30 p.m. Mariners are urged to transit the area with caution, keep a sharp lookout for other watercraft in the area, and are reminded to heed the directions of patrolling law enforcement and public safety officials; absent specific guidance, mariners should remain 200 yards from the fireworks discharge barge in approximate position latitude 38°53’01” N, longitude 076°31’25” W.
